I remember them from back in the day, they were kinda like EMGO, decent "generic" parts. I did a quick "Google" and it looks like they're only in the flashlight biz any more, the only Dorcy oil filter hits I got were from stuff on eBay. Since all our XJs have the relief stuff in the bolt and the filter itself is just the paper element, I would say they're probably fine. I would suspect NOS, though. How old, can't say.

Fram 6003 $4.95 at autozone, cheaper then buying from Ebay,
BTW NGK BP7ES is $1.97 at Pepboys, some ebay sellers think they are discontinued or something due to the price they are asking for them, not to mention the high cost to ship them.

??? Did you leave out a "1" somewhere, or your AutoZone must be mis-pricing, or had a major sale going on. AutoZone in my area has Fram 6003's also, but at $12.99. I just bought two off eBay for just under $18, shipped.

I buy then at advance auto for 4.45 I think it is. I thought it was a mistake so I bought the 2 they had. They got 2 more and I bought them at same price. Appears to be their regular price here.

did a quick web check - Autozone has them in a local store for $3.99 - Advance auto $4.49

That is according to their website, but I know I can get them at advance at that price

Holy !@#$%^!! Local Yammie store has them for like $14.99, I thought I was getting a deal from AZ at $12 (which is why I picked up the ones off eBay.) I'm gonna print the page from the website and go rip up on the local store. There's a mistake somewhere. Thanks guys.
