Anyone know if a 1979 Suzuki has any interchangeable parts

    with an 82 Maxim? Tho looking at the picture I would almost say it looks like a Maxim. The seat and general layout just resemble one, tho it's not a very good picture.

    Not an informed question…Parts don't swap across brands. (Duh?).
    But the Suzuki GS bikes are fabulous, and classy. I own 2.

    I was meaning things like seats, handlebars, etc. The more generic parts.

    Seat isn't generic; handlebars probably are but you can buy brand new tubular handlebars for under $30.

    Speedo might swap if it fits.

    Not much else really, maybe the headlight bucket or turn signals.
