anyone mounted a sportster tank on a maxim??

    I was wondering if anyone here had mounted a peanut sportster tank on his bobber and how much work would be included on swapping the original one for a sporty :p....

    it has been done but if you don't want it to just kind of sit on top of the frame you have to cut out the triple backbone and re work it to a single tube. There are a few threads kicking around showing both ways.
