I rode next to some dude on one the other day, for part of my commute. Looked nice so I read about it.

Seems like something I could see myself on as a future upgrade from my Maxim.

I'd like to hear testimony for good or bad. Thanks.

Nice bike, and it's a Triumph. A "Hinckley" Triumph (the reborn company) but a Triumph nonetheless. And it at least has the new, "evolved" motor instead of the re-hashed '50s twin they still put in some of the models.

A true plushmobile (41mm forks!!!) and it actually gets 48 ~55mpg, right around (almost) what I get from my 550 Seca.

But it doesn't have a tach.

Oh, and take a close look at the specs. Guess who made the shocks and forks? KYB-- the same people who made them for Yamaha and came on your XJ.

Thanks fitz. So first thing, replace the rear shocks at least?

I like the mpg and the motor description sparked my interest. Hmm, a tach would be nice though.

What do you mean by the rehashed 50's twin Bigfitz ?
I must admit they look better in the flesh but that pillion seat doesn't look like a way to keep the pillion in a million happy.
