Anyone recall seeing one of these on their XJ?

It randomly appeared on my garage floor when I got home tonight on the bike and I'm not a big fan of things just falling off.

Family says they have no idea where else it might have come from.

It looks like the leaf off some kind of hinge.

That’s a garage door part, roller shaft goes in the round part. Probably the bottom roller holder as those are closest to the door.

I knew it. It's been a long time since I hung a garage door. Usually it is timber doors in houses I hang.

    Winner winner chicken dinner;)

As soon as I read it I knew you were right. And went and found the spot on the garage door.

Thing that scared me was I just finished putting the bike all back together a few weeks ago and I was thinking gas tank, brake, or center stand hardware but couldn't see anything.

On a positive note, after taking the carbs to church and some tuning, my gas mileage has gone from 28 to almost 42 mpg:):)

That's a roof-rack mounting bracket from a Paddy Moss aftermarket kit of parts for fitting it to a 1964 Morris Oxford.

    Obscure? Of course :)

The real question is... who's been visiting with an ancient Britsh automobile and shedding parts in your garage?
