Jeremy; Have you registered your parts needs with one of the online "junkyard parts locator" services? I found parts for my 550 Secas that just weren't popping up on eBay that often. Some of them try to charge you money, but there are a few that are free and it works. You might send this fellow an email: motolane @ frontiernet.net.

would that fairing fit on my 92 xj600?

I tried the junkyard parts locater and havent gotten any luck yet, I found some motorbike breakers that have them but shipping from overseas is expensive. I found one on ebayuk and the guy is getting me a shipping quote, if this ebay one is the right fit I will jump on it.

Wait a sec, I am getting confused, is the nose in the link above different than what I am looking for. I found this pic and it looks way different.

    http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/1336541/

Is the nose part of the front, or did they list it wrong and it is from an earlier bike?

What is it I am looking for, or is this part of it and I need more parts?

Mate that shot on Bike pics is a later model XJ600 a Diversion I think.
That fairing you have shown at the beginning of the thread looks a lot like the one on mine an '83 XJ750RL.
I did a little looking and that shape fairing seems to be on the early to mid 80's models cant help with which one is supposed to fit your year model.
Looking at the different 600's though the Ducati Monster naked look seems to work really well for them.
    Whoops,forget the stuff above.
Does this look like what your after?

The one I spotted on eBay matches the photo that Jeremy originally posted. I agree, the Seca 600 pictured in the post referenced above is probably what he is really looking for. Jeremy, I think this is what your bike looked like "before." I think you're running up against the difference in naming the 600's between the USA and Europe.
