Are all yamaha speedometers the same gearing?

    Hey everyone, my bike does not have a speedometer and was looking to get one the one I'm looking at is off a 1987 xv535 virago should that work? And anyone use the digital one's that are sold on eBay and Amazon? How do those work, thanks for the information

    Almost all Japanese speedometers of the era have the same gearing. 2240 RPM = 60 MPH
