Hi, I’ve got a 1982 550 Seca (XJ550R) and am wondering if a stock 550 Maxim exhaust will fit my bike. Anyone know?

Aftermarket (e.g. Mac) part numbers are the same, but oem p/n are not.

    Thanks!

The only OEM part numbers that are different are the mufflers themselves, all the other bits (head pipes and collector) are the same. I don't know if the mufflers themselves have different attachment points. Due to the styling of the bikes, Seca to Maxim might be different. My '81 Seca has head pipes and a collector from two mix-n-match sets, one from a Maxim, one from a Seca. Don't remember which bit came from which set, but with Seca mufflers of course.
