    What are your riding plans?

I am going from KC to the Bridges of Madison County in Iowa. Gonna see John Wayne's boyhood home and the other sights.
The last count had 26 people on 16 bikes with mine being the oldest :D
I can't wait for the hardcore Harley riders to give me grief.

Sunday is Bikers for Babies- I am slated to ride in this, but we'll see how it goes after Saturday's 400 miles.

Would take mine to my gun club meeting but can't figure out a way to carry the shotgun for trap shooting before the meeting.....

A shame too because there are some nice winding roads around the range....

Now I have to go home and see if I have a backpack the barrel would fit into....

I had thought scabbard mounted to the fork tube would be awesome but probably land me in jail here in Maryland.

Wish i could ride on weekends. College sucks up all my time diring the week. Work eats my weekend life. My consolation prize is me being able to ride around today with my buddy. More like eat his high octane exhaust cause he has a 2009 GSXR 1000. Oh well. Its still worth it.

I have seen to guys with golf clubs on thier bikes. They used some hitch mount platform. Heck if they can pull that off... I'll try to get pics of them someday.

I would look towards your local tack shop and find a sling for horse... Helmet... kinda John Wayne like ehh!!

As to the weekend ride.... Every day is the weekend when you live in Florida... yeh right. Tonight my son and I are riding over to watch some crazy stunt bikers that meet every Thursday. This weekend we are riding to a BBQ for our Civil War re-enactors Unit. Nice country riding, should be fun.

Just to let you know helmet.... we will be clothed when we ride, that is of course if it rains... :p

That looks like a pretty stressful but fun ride polock. I'm still too much of a noob to attempt anything like that.
This week-end is most likely going to be too rainy for me to be going too far. I did get to ride to work today for the first time.... a whopping 2 1/2 BLOCKS.... woo hoo. I've got an hour at lunch to do something.
It sounds like it's gonna be a fun week-end for some of you.

Dang helmet, I want to work for whoever you work for. Might be one heck of a commute tho! I ran errands at lunch and then had 30 minutes to just put put around town... found out that's pretty blah around here. I was still out riding tho. I told the hubby that traffic was going to be a booger after work (in those 2 blocks) so i'd probably be late getting home. He didn't buy it.

Actually, my boss is on vacation today and all next week, so it's pretty relaxed around here.
to give you an idea of who I work for, we are always in the news for layoffs

We didn't make th e BBQ :( but we did make the beach for sunset!

Great ride out watching the sun set across the marsh 8) (i didn't have time for pics, I'll just have to make another run for those Darn!) then we sat on the beach and had some awsome time chatting about riding, mini bikes, hopped up golf carts, Uncle Bill (Zach thought he would have liked this, and he would have) and to just be a father and son spending time together. :D

You know a lot of people have been thinking we've had a rough summer. Job loss, job gain, work hour reductions, loss of Bill and lately burglarized. Yeh, it has been tough, but I will tell you, MY LIFE IS STILL AWSOME!! GOD ID GOOD!!

HEY HELMET.... SHE DOESN'T LOOK PINK NOW!!
