I noticed this once in a long while last year but this year it's progressively worse. When i first start the bike it will idle, but every now and then it sound like one of the cylinders kind of cuts out or something and there will be kind of a backfire, poof, sound come from the back of the engine/carbs area on the left side, by cylinders 1 & 2. The bike's idle will stutter slightly then return to normal until it poofs again. If i watch it, it looks as though a little bit of smoke comes shooting out of a little port on the #1 carb bowl, or perhaps underneath of the carbs.

    Any ideas?
