My Battery warning light started coming on when I start my bike.
It was working fine with the original sensor.
Bypassing the sensor by splicing into the tail light wire doesn't work.
Are there some other connections I can check out?

    Thanks,
    Maz

as far east as you can get in michigan 43.027407,
my battery sensor (or should i say the wire that used to go to the sensor) is tapped into the positive terminal of the battery...

I ran the sensor wire to the Positive terminal with no luck.
Looking through my Haynes schematic showed a couple connections to check.
The culprit turned out to be the connector in the headlight bucket.
Cleaning it up fixed the problem.

    1) Check the battery itself. Mayhaps it's low on electrolyte.

    2) There's always this little doohickey.
