Its been a while since I've posted on this website. life is crazy right now. i recently move from san diego to the bay area for a new job. As the title states I'm looking for a motorcycle salvage yard in the bay area. Ive found a couple online but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. Which is a new frame for my bike. 82 550 max. I started to think about selling it before the move but could part with the bike. So if anyone in the area no's of any yards with some xj bikes let me no!

    Thanks
    Jim

"No issues" or "Straight" is about as much as you'll get from a breaker. Up to you to crack-test it when you get it, should you feel the need.

May be you should post in the For Sale/ Trade part of these forums. What's wrong with your frame? Some one might be able to sent you a section that you can repair yours if not too bad.

My steering neck is bent from a crash from a while ago. I've talk to a few members parting there bikes but the price plus shipping for the frame just wouldn't work out. So taking a 200$ chance for a frame shipped to me. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet.
