beef'n up displacement!!!??

    Will xj750 cylender and pistons fit an XJ650 case? Is this the only difference between the 650 and 750?

    Here are a couple of side by sides. Both 81's. The 750's bore is 2 mm greater. Aslo a totally different stroke, so different crank. Think you would be out of luck.
    Of course, without the particulars on the 2 engines, I couldn't say with any certainty, but highly doubt they would be interchangable.

    Too bad you don't live closer. I have an entire 750 Maxim engine you could have just for picking it up. Free!! I don't know the history of the engine or the miles (got it for a parts bike)
