Replacing the lines front and rear on my '82 XJ1100, wondering if someone has the measurements for the lines, or knows of a good place to pickup a kit. Cheers.

Click on the banner above...^^^^^ XJbikes...Len seems to have it all!
Ebay is a crapshoot, at least with Len you'll get guaranteed DOT approved lines that are guaranteed to fit.

whatever you do, don't buy apex branded lines. the fitment is iffy and the customer service is nonexistent. chacal has the right stuff and service with a smile. no reason to go anywhere else.

Ok I looked through the MIND NUMBINGLY long thread that is "Brakes" and I don't know if it's not there or if my brain shut off after scrolling down for 10 min strait but I can't seem to see the part or price. Not to rip on having this at our disposal, but good gravy that is terrible to look at.

Easier to PM "Chacal" and ask for what you need, in that case. Just say you need brake lines for your _______, and you're good to go.

Ah, I see everyone else has taken care of suggesting Len. +1 on that. He even does custom lines.

Last year got stainless steel lines from Len. It quickly developed a dark colored band about and inch long on both lines. Len indicated that the manufacturer responded with cosmetic issue but would autopsy fully and get back with result ...... nothing yet.

If you go through Chacal I don't recommend the clear sheath SS lines, get the ones with color. At least you will not be able to see the banding.

The manufacturer said that they had never seen such an issue before, but it was possibly caused by a contaminant within the material or the machine that molds the sheath. In either case, it was a purely cosmetic issue and neither we nor they have ever seen it before or after that batch of lines!
