So im lost and dont know what else to try my bike starts fine and idles smooth but after about 5 min of riding it starts missfiring and if i let off the throtal or engage the clutch for even a second it dies and i have to pull over on the side of the road and wait about 2 min before it will start again ive already drained the tank and inspected it. The kreem tank liner is intact no peeling that i can see so i filled it back up with fresh gas, ive also changed my fuel filter and made sure my carb holders were tight with no air leaks. please help im lost, also my tach seems to be jumping around alot could these two problems be related?

Check the vent in the fuel cap and make sure it's clear.

CHECK THE RESISTANCE WITH A METER LOOK FOR CRACKS AND TRY ANOTHER SET IF YOU HAVE ONE.

Try running with the cap open. I'm still betting vent vs coils...

Have you tried running with the petcock set on prime? If that works, you may have a slow leak in the vacuum line to the petcock, allowing the gas to gradually get cut off.
