Bike Runs but wont stay running

Hello everyone! With the help of all everyone on the fourm the XJ 550 is now running! I am very excited with that but now my next question is how do I get it to idle properly? Here is where I am at: Choke open - Bike starts up with out the need of starter fluid but Revs to about 4k almost instantly. Choke Half way - Doesn’t wanna start without starter fluid, occasionally does and revs high, Choke almost closed - won’t start without starter fluid but bike feels normal, Revs up and sits around 1k but have to hold the throttle open ever so slightly or it will stall out. this is my first bike so any of the basics are appreciated.

Strip and rebuild carbs, search "church of clean" on here. If you're not confident with small intricate machines, send them to someone who is...

 

Yep.. the pilot circuits on these carbs are small and probe to blocking - there's a curs-ed one at the bottom of the float bowl IIRC
