so I went shopping, got out of the car and I could hear a xj in need of help. The guy had a nice 82 650 maxim. He had just been to the car wash, and drove it after to his current location....but it wouldnt even pop or catch. Sounded like he flooded it. He said he pressure washed the bike everywhere and thought he got water in airbox.. Told him to pull plugs and let them dry out. Had this happened to anyone?

it is ill advised to pressure wash an XJ the pressure can get water where you do not want it like inside the TCI box, short out the ignition coils or pickup coils, knock connectors loose.

    knock glass fuses out
