    76-76 XS500's and 77-81 XS400's were dual rear shocks

To make matters worse, in 1982 Yamaha produced TWO TYPES of XS400s, the J/RJ monoshock Maxim/Seca (with the "half an XJ" motor) AND the XS400SJ "Special" which was the old original dual-shock SOHC XS400. The SOHC bike was gone by '83.

Umm, guys... that "bling" is every originally chromed piece of a Seca 550, rechromed, plus a couple that weren't originally like the rear chain tensioners. If I weren't busily ELIMINATING all the (nickel) chrome I can from my '83, I woud have bid on it myself. (The chrome on my '81 is fine.)

Post should read: "Bling out your 550 Seca"

How much do you suppose it cost to re-chrome all those parts?

Can you guys identify anything there that would fit a 750 Seca?
