    Hi folks,

When I picked up my stock bike, the left front and rear blinkers functioned just fine, but when I flick the switch to the right, only the front right blinker would light up (but not flash).

I installed four brand new Bikemaster mini-stalk flashers, but made sure that none of them were LED.

Now, only the front right lights up (But won't flash), and the rear left lights up (But wont flash).

Neither of the other two function.

Do you guys think this is a load issue where I will need a new relay? Or do you all think there is corrosion somewhere in the wiring?

    Thank you.

Or the new signals came with too low of a wattage light bulb in them. Try swapping the bulbs for 1156's or equivalent.

    Thanks Fitz,

So here's where I am. Today I installed the "EL 13" flasher relay that everyone seems to use, just in case my bulbs were too small. Sure enough, it made the lights flash even with the engine off, but my rear right blinker still won't flash*.

It seems all of the connections in the rear are ok, I even sanded the negative and positive male butts to make sure. Anyone have a good suggestion on how to get into the females?

I'm not sure what I'm missing here.

*Edit: My rear right blinker won't light up OR flash, is what I meant

I had trouble with left rear signal on my 700. Tried cleaning the terminal ends. Used dielectric grease. Finally, I replaced the connector. Been fine ever since.

I found a lot of the external wiring was corroded through.
Use the stretch test to make sure it's not just the outer plastic insulation on the wire keeping the terminal fixed to the wire.
In other words pull the bullet terminal and see if it feels stretchy. (wire not attached inside and the crimp is holding onto the wire)

Faster than doing continuity checks all over the place :)

    Good luck!

swap those connections you cleaned, see if the problem follows.
if it does theres a problem towards the flasher.
if it doesn't the problem is towards the light
