Just been having a little searchypoo on the forums & it appears nobody has even asked, let alone tried, to fit Blue Spot calipers to an XJ (900RK or otherwise)

Has anybody ever tried to fit blue spot calipers to an XJ? Surely it'd be a worthwhile upgrade to the standard calipers & I think they look good, cheap too...

Any thoughts on this, why it's not been tried, why it would/wouldn't work etc are welcomed. I may do this, I may not  We'll see what floats to the top in the 'Bay of E...

If your forks are the same as the FJ1100 or early V Max you will need these adapters.

Aren't the front brakes on the 750 the same as 900's and FJ1100's?
Reading the advert there'sa ferw oher bit's you'll need aswell. 8O

Just found out that the XJ750 and 900 use 37mm diameter forks. Is that right? Spindley or what?
Just upgrade to a front end from an FJ1200 1988 onwards and the Blue Spots bolt straight on.

I did it! I used FZR 600 forks.

I'm not sure, I have anti dive mounted on the front of the forks & the discs are vented (!) Think the "normal" 750's have solid/drilled discs?

I don't want to do major stuff like that to this bike, just add a little "safety margin" to the existing setup with something easily reversible by just unbolting calipers/adapters & master cylinder. Maybe do something more major to the next XJ... (oh here we go!!!) :)

Maybe not a classic in the truest sense of the word, but it's very nice & original, and I defy you to find another in any condition! :p
