Bought a xj650, have a stupid question

    Got my hands on a 82 maxim 650, has the mods i want (bars, forward controls, ect) one thing that come with the bike but is NOT on the bike is the storage box. Its not the same as my 550 is, its long, narrow and no lid, where on the bike is this supposed to go? Any pics? So far I am loving this bike, it was impossible for me to get comfy on the 550, this one I have ridden a couple hundred miles in a day with no issue :D

    It is for the "PowerLock" and it goes crosswise across the frame back toward the rear downloop with the opening toward the LH side, if I remember correctly.

    Thank you for the help, searched powerlock and found the rest of what i needed (the lock came in a bag with the big, woohoo!), now for my next question, if there isn't any on board storage, where does everyone put their registration and insurnace cards at? Getting kind of tired of always having to wear a backpack when riding this bike.
