My helmet (HJC CS-R2) is a couple of seasons old and has the hoof marks
from that 6-pointer last fall. F#&%$!g Bambi !!
I have a 2X, round-oval head. (With bicycle helmets, I always buy Bell, Giro's are uncomfortable, and they are owned by the same corp.) Go figure!
Price-wise $ 150 is about my limit, unless there is a significant performance improvement. Looked at BikeBandit and Motorcycle Superstore.. Any other companies out there with value for the money?
Eye'ing the HJC CL-16. DoT AND Snell cert. and my last two helmets have been HJC.
Full face only, I'm a nurse and spent 15 years in E.D.'s and a couple working in Brain Injury rehab.

I've bought at least 3 helmets from them over the years...

Current helmet is an HJC CL-SP; DOT and Snell.

    Mine is HJC IS-MAX.

Very comfortable fit for me. Not bad in hot weather. Kinda foggy in cold weather.
