    Hi all,

Does anyone know the thickness (diameter) of the pin that holds the brake pads onto the calipers.

Mine got demolished while trying to unseize the calipers and are now temporarily held on by a bolt which causes the pads to stick every time the front brake is used.

I want to reduce the shaft thickness of the bolt, but cannot find any reference to dimensions needed.

Local shop is unable/unwilling to track down OEM part - claiming part too old/stupid design anyway (hex head recessed)

    The bike is the XJ750D.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ade
