Breather tube leaking fuel

    So its keakimg fuel out of the tune and into my oil...I took off carbs and checked floats...all seemed great...and cleaned out needle holes....any other ideas? maybe it got unstuck when removing carbs? any other thoughts? btw xj750 seca

    I also went to church on carbs....problem just popped up after no issues

    Did you install an inline fuel filter to kep crud out of your freshly cleaned carbs?
    Did you replace the float needles and seats?
    Did you wet-set the floats?

    Transmission had an issue...bought a parts bike...engine wss running....all i did was put my rebuilt carbs on it

    Wanted to sync...but it was blowing out gas thru breather tube

    Seeing how the Packers are playing right now working on your bike is a better option . . . .

    What level did you wet set your carb bowls at?

    Check the vacuum line on the fuel tank. If there is a pinhole in the vacuum diaphram on the petcock it will allow the tank to drain into the crankcase via the vacuum line.
