HI All, Do you know where they sell café seat pans just for the XJ's? I have seen dime city cycles sells a few "universals", but they seem to be too narrow for these bikes. I measure 9" at tank base, and 9 inches at end of frame. any suggestions?

It's a fully DYI project. One alternative is to have the stock seatpan used as a base for a cafe' styled seat.

Been looking for a while myself and nothing had the dimensions I needed. Easiest to do fiberglass or metal.
There is one seller on ebay who sells banana seats and would do custom sizes.

I did mine using fiberglass. First I took a thinner sheet of metal, put it on the frame and used a rubber mallett to shape it. My frame is curved upward towards the rear. Next, I fiberglassed over one side of the sheet metal. Forgot how many layers but ended up with a thickness of about 3/8.
