Are there any pictures or video to show how to set the piston and attach the circlip the dust boot? I am having an extremely difficult time installing the dust boot.

How important is the dust boot? The front calipers have no dust boot so I am wondering just how vital the dust boot is.

The dust boot is important so that you dont get dust caught under the seal in the caliper piston. Dust can cause fluid to leak past the seal, rendering your caliper dangerous. Similar to dust in a fork seal.

I figured it out after dozens of tries. Insert the piston about half way into the caliper. Install the dust boot in a stretched out position. Attach circlip. Press the piston the rest of the way into the caliper.

It is a bit of a trick to hold the caliper and the dust boot and work the dust boot into place.
