Thats dangerous friend i would not recommend doing that. Thats not to say that no one here is trust worthy but people do the dumbest things when given the opprotunity.

what you do is get an ebay snipper and put in your highest bid. and it will automatically do the work for you . but it can not go above your high bid. they also let you set the timer to the last 5 secsonds of a bid.

Ebay uses proxy bidding anyways. So if you have a definitive top dollar amount, then once you put that in, Ebay will bid in increments to keep you on top, but never over the max bid.

I do it all the time, and if it ends up over my tippy top bid, then it's probably going for too much, the guy who ended up getting it paid too much, and another one will come around for the right price.

Yeah I do it all the time too; just put in YOUR absolute max, and don't fret it. You may find a pleasant surprise when you get back. (I won my '83 that way, and for $180 less than the max I had put in.)

Steve, we (the whole family) will be at Dizzyland on Saturday as well. Let's do lunch! Bring your jacket, clouds with chance of showers Saturday night.

well now thats its over, but I would say, jsut to pm rickcomatic, he's one to trust, so is bigfitz, i'm jsut a "kid" so i may do something dumn unintentionally, or you could have had me bid on the item, and jsut paid me back, something along those lines.

You can put your bid in now. Just keep checking to see if your bid is still good when your away. I can access through my cell phone to see if my bids are still good.
