Can someone verify if this is the original front cowl?

    Can someone tell me if they think this cowl is the original red to the red XJ550 seca, or if they think it is a repaint? There is some over spray on the back of the cowl, which I wouldn't think would be factory, plus the decal is missing.

    It is from a project that I will probably never get around to, so I am thinking about selling it.

    That is a factory cowl/sport fairing. The paint is correct (including the overspray), but the decal is not.

    I know beauty is in the eye etc, but I think that red thing is puke inducing....
