Can't afford Unobtainium!!

    Hey guys I am wondering if there are any semi cheap sissy bars out there that will fit on a 86' XJ700n. I have seen one original factory sissy bar on ebay but the price on it was too much for me and my poor little bike.

    I would also like to pick up a luggage rack for my bike as well so if you have any suggestions for them I would also like to hear it but it's not as important.

    Also I would like to find highway pegs that have the extended shifter and brake pedals. Once again not a neccessity just something nice to have. :D

    If ya have any suggestions that you have used that have worked out for you let me know. Thanks guys

    I don't know how "polished" a look you're going for, but I made my own backrest/luggage rack out of angle aluminum. I think it cost $30-$40. You can see it in my gallery. Somebody else made one out of stainless steel which looked more polished than mine but I use mine every day.

    forward controls, not highway pegs.

    Look on ebay for tc bros choppers. They have universal forward controls that work with these bikes.

    you should also be bale to find a universal sissy bar/luggage rack.
