Anyone got any ideas on this? The little caps that are on the top of the spark plugs are stuck in the boots. Any idea on how to remove?

Are you talking about the little screw-on tips on top of the plug? If so, maybe you can screw in the plug tip or a same-sized skinny machine screw and pull it back out?

Work some WD in between the cap & boot, they should slide right off.

On my xj750 you have to unscrew that top off the plug for the boots to even fit on.

Oh....those. Yeah, they should already be removed for the cap to fit on the plug. did you rotate the boots a little to break any seal they have on the porcelain?

Try wiggling them back & forth and pulling up at the same time....there are a couple spring clips inside the caps that grab the small male threads on top of the plug, they may be corroded in the brass peice they fit in.

Yup make sure you use generous dialectric grease so the boot can really make a solid connection to the threads of the sparkplug end

Maybe different boots, but caps need to be off to fit the boots on my seca as well.
