    Thanks. I am a bit confused about the parts and where they go on the carbs. Got any good pictures that outlines the carbs?

    Antothoro; Sorry, I did mine before I got my camera. I have a BRAND NEW Mikuni from a 550 though, and planned to dissect it and take pics.

    But there are two photo-thingies "in the pipe" ahead of it...

    Sounds like you need a service manual.

    It a replacement "anti-tamper" cap to cover up the idle (pilot) mixture screw port. Don't use it! Use an easily-removable rubber plug of some sort so you don't have to drill out that plug the next time you want to get to the mixture screws!!
