Well, I'm on to my second problem with my seca.
I cleaned my carbs in Napa's carb soak.
Worked great, except I now have no throttle shaft seals.....
I read somewhere on here that they are available from some other source than Yamaha, but you have to buy like 50.
    Does anyone have the link?
Beter yet has anyone ordered the large lot and have extras?
I would need 8, and am willing to pay whatever they cost + shipping.
Second, I also need Idle misture screw o-rings.
Is there a place where I can get them?
Lastly The fuel crossover seals also fell victim to the carb soak.
Does anyone know of a source for them?
I do have my local Yamaha dealer looking through the parts fiches for me, but I wanted some fall back options.

One other question, is there a baseline setting for the Idle mixture screws?
I have an 82 750 seca with a MAC 4 into 1 exhaust, and I will be running individual K&N's with the dynojet stage 3 kit. The only wildcard is I am contemplating bending up a piece of tube and fitting a 1 3/4" Supertrapp to it that I have lying around.

As before any help greatly appreciated. 8)

I have some orings. Just send me your snail mail addy via PM and I'll mail some to you. Standard setting for the mixtre screws is 2.5 turns out. With your setup I would go 3 turns. This is only a starting point so as to colortune or dyna set the carbs.

I bought a pack of 50 of the throttle-shaft seals last year - but I don't know how many I have left. I'll have to check my shop tomorrow after I finish up with work - but before I make my trip to Virginia... Otherwise it'll be over a week until I get back & can check...

If you guys have a good source for o-rings, seals and other parts, don't forget to throw them into our Links section

I still haven't had a chance to check my shop - but in case anyone else would like to get them direct from McMaster-Carr, they are part number:

Double-Seal Viton O-Ring AS568A Dash Number 011, Packs of 50 (Same as 6540K11) 6540K121 - and from their website, are still $12.56 for a pack of 50. I'll post tomorrow after I check my personal stock.

    Thanks,
    Rex
