    I have a xj750 and I got them to pass the clunk test but I need to set the pilot screw what should they be set at with a header and stock air box.

    You start at 2 1/2 turns out from lightly seated, however, you then tune by ear for best idle RPM (listen, and watch the tach) THEN, you actually ride the bike, noting the engine feel, and pull the plugs to check for proper (brown bag) coloration. Search for "plug chops"

    You also do a running sync too. If your bike hasn't run in a while, expect to re-do the fine tuning in 2-300 miles.
