Still waiting on my manual so i hope you guys can help me out here.

I have removed the carbs from the bike to give them a good inspection & cleaning. The PO did also but after i replaced 2 intake manifolds and synchronised the carbs, i have doubts about

Anyway. I'd like to know the float height and setting of the pilot screw etc.

If anyone can help me out i'd be very thankful

search 'clear tube method' for your float height. then set your mixture screws 3 out and start from there. you'll probably be coming Out/Richer

I'd like to do the "clear tube method" but there are no attachments for the tubes on the float bowls.

Dunno if anyone messed with it in the past or if it's an european thing.

just be careful if your drain screws are stuck. read Richomatic's 'the whole nine yards' for the removal procedure and full carb cleaning instructions

Have done the carbs today. Put the bowls back on the right carbs. Cleaned out jets, passages. Inspected membrane, cluck test, compared float height. Discarded the original phillips screws that hold bowls en membrane cover and replaced with ss allen head.
And set the pilot screws 3 turns out (was 3,5).

Yamaman, the notches you encircled are not drains. The drain holes on my carbs are just right of the drain screws.

Anyway. Bike idles better but haven't had the opportunity to test ride.
Will do so tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.
