Ok so I've had the issue of intermittent jamming of my shifter and I finally removed the shifter cover to dig the pieces out.

The problem I'm having is that there are two peices in there and they are both over one inch in size, perhaps just big enough that they wont fit through the hole above the shifter mechanism. Is there any other place I can migrate them to where I will have the clearance to remove them?

    Thanks in advance!

I've not had this issue, but AFAIK, the answer is no -- the pieces would need to be broken up. As they broke off in the first place, I would think that making them smaller shouldn't be a problem. :)

Until you fix it properly, suggest you carry the necessary fishing tools wherever you go!
