hello there, I have a yamaha xj 750 and I'd like to remove the windshield and change the head light from a square one to a circular one thus making the bike a bit more "naked"

that is to say like this:

the problem is the dash gauges, I'd like to change them as well, those are the ones I use at the moment

I think that something more minimal would fit it better for a naked bike, but I dont know what dash I could put in its place, maybe something from the maxim or the seca? Truth be said it must not be a yamaha piece at all cost, I'd be more than happy with anything compatible that can be easily bought, something minimal: a speedometer, a tachometer, a little clock and some leds for gas, neutral, beams and arrows

any help could be insanely appreciated :)

My Seca 550s are both "naked" and I like the stock cluster (although replacing the speedo was a must.)

do you think that dash could be compatible with a xj 750? It's surely more minimalistic than mine. but I guess the clock is not part of it :)

I guess you did replace the speedometer because the original one didnt go further 80 mph

Compatible is a relative term. This is my XJ750 dash but some mods were required.

I mean compatible as: "a dash that could fit in place of mine with some easy mods that most mechanics could do"

I am scouting ebay looking for something I could put on my bike, most of them are said to be "compatible with many models but please check"

the thing is that I don't know how to check, that' why I am asking you guys here :)

anyway that dash looks cute, which model is it? what kind of mods were required to make it work?

    cheers

    Koso RX-1N dash
    custom bracket made
    Simplified Seca wiring
Koso Electronic speedo adapter instead of cable.
Had to modify fuel tank sender as well.
