I was curious if anyone else went the "easy rider" chopper direction with their builds. That's my plan for this winter for mine and wanted to seem of there were other guys that have gone that way. I'm wanting to go full blown with it, and I'm really honesty excited for all the potential this project presents. Let's see some pictures and hear about the challenges you've had doing a typically harley dominated project with your xj

+1 I love the old ironhead sporty look with the old king and queen seats and the springer front ends

The biggest challenge is dealing with mechanically inept morons insisting that their fatally flawed, highly questionable engineering advice is the only way to build a chopper.

That said. If you are going for the old school stretched, and raked chopper. You might consider a set of wire wheels. The link in my sig will give the info needed for one option. Do your research. You can go totally bolt on, to a complete custom frame.

If you have any questions. Feel free to shoot me a pm. I try to check in every couple weeks.
