recently i was researching parts for my xs-650/hs and i stumbled across a guy who fabricates chopper frames just for the xs-650 .after lookin it over...i thought to my self.......self..instead of lookin for parts that ill probly never find or can't afford, ill spend my time and money fabricating my own one off!!xs choppers offers up a nice piece called a "zero radius"frame, accepts harley wheels and front end,as well as other parts.the bike he built is listed on ebay for $5000, thats way more than my factory bike will ever be worth! and it looks like an old school pro chop! im gonna go for it and create my own ride, wanna chek it out? goto xschoppers.com.....ill post my progress as soon as i make some...i think i feel a super charger commin on! gotta boost! L8tr

A guy back home where I'm from in Nova Scotia builds xs choppers, apparently the xs's have an ecellent fram for chopping i've been told, and seeing some of his work I beleive it.

    Good luck with your build

You can find all kinds of custom frames for the XS. It's probably the most popular metric chopper out there. That and the Honda SOHC CB's. Check out http://www.chopperunderground.com/forums.

I'm guessing the site you found was Horton's. I don't know the guy, and I know a lot of people who think he's great, but he seems like kind of a flake to me. Built some real nice frames, but he just gets bored with stuff and drops it all of a sudden.

A word of advice though. Before jumping headfirst into a full-on custom built chopper, you might want to build a "bobber" out of your stock frame. Basically strip off all of the unneeded stuff, and either shorten the shocks, move the mounts back, or weld on a hardtail section on your stock frame. I'm sure you'll get some good ideas at the CU forums...

You should look at IONs creations, he built a very respectable chopper in his garage. Hit the gallery.
