Well, the perfect project bike may have been under my nose all this time, a suzuki gs 550 is in our barn. About a year or 2 ago my uncle bought it from his friend when he needed money, and then his friend bought it back, well that was a year ago, and it still sits in our barn. So my uncle is going to call him, and im going to offer him 100 smackers for it. I drove it over here and parked it in the barn, it was running on about 11-% carb cleaner, and wouldn't go over 40 mph in 5th? gear. Ill pay some guy to clean the carbs, then ill bobber the heck out of it. Trying to do something like that one guy who has luke skywalker as his avator's bike, i really like his mufflers, and cheesey's bike.

so lemme know anything about gs 550's, and i pray getting a title in michigan isn't difficult. cuz i doubt he has one
oh, comes with its own clymer repair book, brank new!

I'd definately check into the whole ownership thing, incase it's not obtainable. Here is Ontario it's as simple as a bill of sale, and a signed affidatement stating that you are the rightfull owner due to what ever the facts may be. Cost me $50.00 the last time, plus the cost of a used vehicle package...$20.00....Regardless....Good Luck with the project, and look forward to following your progress!

    Cheesy!
