Just in the process of reconfiguring my trusty daily ride into a cafe racer project and was wondering if anyone has fitted on to an XJ or any other bike some CLUBMAN bars.

Clubman bars have similar low height and angles as clip-on handlebars but actually attach via the normal handlebar brackets on the top of the forks.

    Thanks.

I had clubmans on my xj650. I purchased the bike from some one for $300 and they had dirt bike bars on it. I ended up with some clubman. They felt good to me, but everyone is different. On the maxim the cables will be a bit longer than needed for clubman, No idea how that would go on a xj900, Also the I belive my bars will hit the tank on the 650. Personaly after having them a while I didn't like the look, but they felt nice to me. I am sure some one with an xj900 here has done it. Also I have seen clubmans flip around so they were high and not low. Look out for the cheap bars, mine were nice and didn't cost much, but I think I had read some one on the forums that had a cheap set of clubman and they cracked? I could be wrong on that. I think I spent $20 on mine.
