I was thinking about an after market ignition coil kit for my 82 seca 750.
they have two choices, 0.7 ohms and 3.0 ohms which is the correct setup?
Give your thoughts too waste of money ($189) or good investment. I bought the bike not to long ago and im trying to spruce it up a bit and get some reliability out of her.

I'm not sure which setup you need for the 750, but it is definitely a very good investment. Aftermarket coils don't require near the amount of juice to fire as the stock setup.

Between those two choices: 3 Ohms.

The stock coils are 2.5 Ohms, so a 0.7 Ohm coil would likely burn up your TCI outputs pretty quickly, or, vice-versa the TCI might melt the coils themselves.
