    So I've owned my 82 Maxim for about three months now and have put about four thousand miles on it. Pretty well set on keeping it. However I'd like to make some simple mods to it and I'm having a hard time with finding parts.
    I'd like to add a backrest (don't want the kids falling off), a highway bar and a different seat. I can much more often find parts for an 81 but I can't find a definitive answer on whether or not they'll fit.
    Any help here?

    650 or 750 maxim

    as you mention 81 I am guessing the 650. Backrest, highway bars, and seat from ant year 650 maxim will interchange.

    highway/crash/engine bars are interchangeable between all 650/750 secas and maxims.
