    Hello again XJ-friends!

By every upstart I get warned for BRK which I figured out means low level of brake fluid in the reservoir.

The reservoir is full and in my means the wiring inside the headlamp seems correct. I suspect that the fault could depend of corrosion etc on the connector/sensor thats attached to the bortom of the reservoir and where the wire lets out.

Does anybody know how to remove the connector without breaking it? I tried to carefully bend it out with a small screwdriver but decided that the risk of trashing was to big with that method

The sensor comes out by removing the circlip and pushing up and out of the reservoir. There is an O-ring there that should be replaced if you take it out and I don't see any reason for taking it out unless you have confirmed it is bad and you have a replacement.

So, be sure to thoroughly check it first. If the reservoir is full the float should rise (it has a magnet attached to it) and close the switch, so you can check that with a DMM. You could also just jumper those two mating wires for the switch at the main harness and make sure your CMS powers up with no fault

Rooster! Thanks to you I started Searching for the fault in the main harness instead of trashing the fluid switch. After a bunch of attempts; I found out that the switch works and the fault (as in several Cards) depended on poor contact. Super!
