I am thinking about getting a hard saddle for it but I've been looking around and can't seems to be able to find anything (there are bunches of soft saddle tho).

The other question is since I'm in Alaska, my bike is going to put in my shed a a good 9 mo. I am thinking to put it on a center jack. Is there any reasons NOT to do so? I looked under the bike and only sees exhaust pipes and I don't know how well they will take the weight. But that's the only reason I can see right now.

    Thanks!

When it's on the center stand there is very little weight on the front wheel. Slide a piece of wood under it, reduce the tire pressure in both tires and forget about them.

Carl, I get the impression he doesn't have a center stand; possibly due to an aftermarket 4-1 exhaust?

I wouldn't recommend trying to support the weight of the bike on the exhaust system. If you don't have a centerstand, you can buy (or rig up) a rear axle stand like they use on racebikes.

OK, how about hard saddle? Is there any universal ones out there?

Also for the rear axle stand, does it has to be bike specific?
