I went on a ride last weekend with several friends (of course I had the only 20th century bike), and for the most part, the bike performed well, throughout the 425 miles we went in 2 days.

The 2 minor issues, which I would like to see what I can do about are:
    1. the brake light does not work for the front brake - anything simple to check (a certain connection that has an issue, for example)
    2. I had a couple of times after taking off from a stop that the kickstand light would come on. I was able to fix it by giving the kickstand a kick, but I am worried it may get worse.

Any help on either of these would be greatly appreciated.

    1. switch at the end of the brake lever. Can get stuck "shut".

    2. Spring needs a little tightening it sounds like. Can just bend the ends in some.

I wiggled the brake cable a little, and it seems fine.

I played with the switch for the kickstand, which seemed to be sticking, and it seems to move more freely now. I will see how it goes.

    Thanks for the response.

Many of the switches, etc. can be removed, taken apart, cleaned and polished, etc. internally, which will make the whole bike electrical better.
