I'm gonna weigh in on the cool side. Although like James said, the idea is cool but I think he just missed it. The drop seat is cool, but he took it just a little to radical. The seat it self kinda looks like he stole momma's mini ironing board..it needs some kind of contour. I do like the concept though. I'd give it 9.75 on intent, and and 6.85 on execution.... 8)

Seems like one's backbone might never be the same after riding it.

I can't say its "cool", I can't say its "ugly", all I can say is what my reaction was as soon as the first pic finished loading..... I laughed and the the first thing I said was "boy, does that look 'goofy' ". So, I it's interesting, eye-catching (probably appealing to some), but looks "goofy" to me. I will also admit that there was a great deal of fine work involved, from what I see.

I wouldn't go with "ruined" but rather "ruined for me". It's not to my taste but to each his own.

So, I'm at the Aquafest Car Show yesterday checking out all the nice cars and, as I'm making my way through the show, guess who I run into?

Got a chance to talk to the owner a bit. If I recall correctly, he said he bought the bike as we see it from his brother. I told him I posted the Craigslist link here and got mixed reviews of his bike. I mentioned the discussion about the "ironing board" seat. He laughed and then invited me to sit on it. It was surprisingly comfortable. Lots of padding. He also started it up and she sounded real nice. A little rumble to her, but not loud and obnoxious.

    I still like it. :D
