I'm gutted, the last time i crashed a bike was a GS1000 twelve years ago, i thought i was over the whole crashing thing, but apparently not. I can safely say that twelve years have not been kind to my body and it deffinaltley hurts more the older you get.

Sorry to hear about your spill. Bike can be fixed, ones life & limb are not so easy to fix. Glad to hear you have nothing more than aches & bruises.
    Get well soon.

Ok. I've been hummin and harrin about hardtailing for a while. Now would seem to be the perfect oportunity.

I only have one question, steel, 1" x 10 swg mild steel tube or 1" seamless cold drawn tube ????

or have i got it all wrong?????

in short, what steel do i need???

Glad you are OK. One crash every 12 years is a pretty good average. I think I'll crash mine before I paint it.
