    Nope. Just the speedometers were marked up to 85 mph. Actual top speeds were often much higher.

    The speed on freeways in SD is 80 mph. I am not worried about my engine at that speed, but I don't really like going that fast. I like to take the side roads where the speed limit is 65.

    When my bike was new, I used to use my tachometer to estimate my speed when I was seeing how fast my new bike would go...I was younger and more foolish back then.
