Nice! Are you going to put the tank emblems back on?

I like the color. My 550 is finally ready for paint after about 10 hours of work to the tank. I hope you have a front fender for it. The front end gets kinda flexy at speed.

I do have the front fender for it; I am just trying to figure out how to make brackets to mount it. Any ideas, anyone???

I hope you're putting a fender on it, or changine the seat, and putting side covers on..

Is it a stock front fender? If it is then it should just bolt right up to the fork legs.

I have the side covers, but one of the parts of the right sidecover, doesn't stay clipped. You know how there's half circles that latch? How would you fabricate something to work? Bondo or something?

On your side cover is a piece broken off? If it is just cracked towards the center you can epoxy it. If the piece of it is broken off you can try to epoxy it back on. I don't know how well it will last. There are some pretty strong products out there for this. How are the rubber grommets that the cover attachment points slip onto? If they are cracked or missing replace them. Bike is looking good. Get a fender or fork brace on there before you ride it. Speed wobbles get real nasty from the flex on these bikes.

Lookin sweet man. I'm trying for the same type of look for my 650. Is that the stock seat? How do you have the tail light mounted under there? Where are you planning on mounting a license plate?

I vote keeping the side covers off. I like the stripped down look you have going on.

My one criticism is the tank graphics, they look a too "slapped on" for my taste, especially the "yamaha" on that strange angle across the top.
