Custom XJ650 LED Tail Light, Help!

    Hi, So I'm not great with electronics, and have a few questions about a new LED Tail Light assembly I am looking at installing. The LED Light I am looking at has 3 wires; White=Brake, Red=Running, Black=Ground.
    How much work am I looking at if I want to rewire this to work? Is it as simple as getting a load resistor and splicing it in?
    Any help is appreciated!

    This is the build so far. The old housing was ruined when i got the bike. Any help would be awesome

    a load resistor is for led turn signals. ground is ground then 50/50 chance on the other two
